Christmas Cards

Merry Christmas card #4

I have been thinking for a few days how I wanted to work with this die. I finally pulled it out and went to work. I chose 3 colors of paper to use: black sheen, gold sparkle, and dark red. I also used a white card base.

I began die-cutting red bows, black ornaments, then cropping red, gold, and black.

After cutting, I stamped and embossed Merry Christmas in gold. I then colored the bows with Wink of Stella glitter pen. I added heavy adhesive to the back of black paper, and used multi media matte for the delicate middle details on the ornaments.

I finished with stamping inside white cardbase with Altenew Holiday Sentiments. I added the bows and card front to the card base.

Dies and stamps used: MFT Rectangle A2 Stitch Stax set 1; Pretty Pink Posh Twine and bows; Bailey Ornament Trio; Kaisercraft Mint Wishes; Altenew Holiday Wishes

This was a low maintenance card to make. There was very little to do. The ornament die does most of the work. I made 4 cards in an hour.
