I made a few cards tonight After the family went to bed. I didn’t want to stay up too late, so I knew I had to keep it simple. I pulled out some beautiful Christmas paper by Tim Holtz and a stamp set from My Favorite things. After debating what I wanted to do, I got to work.
I decided to do an assembly-line style of card making. I got out my Pretty Pink Posh Twine and Bow die set and used the Twine die to cut the pattern paper. I did this three times. I then trimmed down the paper to 4.25×4, being sure to keep the bottom point in the middle. I cut 3 4.25 x5.5 panels of Neenah Desert Storm 80 lb kraft paper. I adhered the pattern paper to the top of the Kraft paper. I cut the panels to size using My Favorite Things largest rectangle stitch die. The next step was cutting three red twine and 9 bows. I used glue to assemble the bows. I stacked them three layers for height.
I glued the twine right under the pattern paper. While the glue was drying, I cut three A2 top folding card bases using 110 lb Neenah Solar Whilte cardstock, and stamped inside a Christmas sentiment from Altenew’s Holiday Wishes stamp set using Versafine Black Onyx Ink.
Thanks for stopping by,! Check back soon for another post. I’ll be doing Christmas cards for the next few weeks.
