I picked out 2 different colors of purple cardstock by Bazzill. I cut them to panels of 4.25×5.5. I decided to heat emboss using MFT’s Lined Up Dots 6×6 background stamp. I inked up the stamp with Versamark, and used Hero Arts Silver embossing powder to melt.
Next I stamped 8 poinsettias using Sunny Studios Petite Poinsettias layering stamp set. I chose 2 Altenew violet colors, and again heat embossed the top detailing layer with silver embossing powder. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I chose a pearl shimmer paper to coordinate with the embossed purple paper. I adhered them together in panels, then used the third largest rectangle stitched frame from MFT’s A2 stitch Stax to cut to size. For the outside sentiment, I stamped a few words from MFT’s Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, and heat embossed using Ranger Clear Embossing powder.
For the cardbase, I used Peanut Cluster cardstock by Bazzill. I made 4 portrait and 4 landscape bases at an A2 Card size. I stamped the inside sentiments from Altenew’s Holiday Wishes stamp set using Versafine Black Onyx ink.
While the ink dried on the cardbases, I finished the card fronts. I adhered 1/4 inch strips of silver glitter paper to the seam of the panels, and added the stamped poinsettias using foam adhesive. I then mounted the panels onto white cardstock and attatched to the cardbases.
Now I’m off to my next project. Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check back soon for future posts.
