Hello everyone! I’m so excited today to share my first design team project on the Drive By Crafts Blog. I will be showcasing weekly projects for the next three months with this online store. I will have links to the store and products used throughout  this blog, and on the store blog. E22D5D05-9C86-430B-8277-C3A88860D0D9

Hello Spring… I love everything about Neat & Tangled’s March Release. For this card, I used Hello Spring and Friendly Florals stamp sets, and Hello Spring Nice & Neat die. My first step for this card was stamping. Using my MISTI, I stamped in opposite corners of watercolor paper so I could stamp mirror images. I covered the flowers with cut out masks, then started building a bouquet. When I finished stamping all the little flowers, I was excited to get the masking paper off and see what was underneath. I was so happy with the outcome. I used Zig Markers, water, and a thin paintbrush to color in the flowers.

After I was done coloring, I used the 2-piece Spring die cut set to cut out the word Spring 4 times from white cardstock. I glued and stacked the words on top of each other for height. I die cut the background out of black cardstock. I stamped Hello, then used Scrapbook Adhesive Foam Squares to adhere Spring to the card front. I trimmed the panel down, then attached the cardfront to an A2 top-folding cardbase. my final touch was a coat of Crystal Glaze over the word Spring for shine.

This card is so happy and colorful. It makes me excited for the warm weather that is finally coming our way.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to subscribe for future blogs. Happy Crafting!
