Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing this super sweet card. The weather is getting warmer, and soon enough the lemonade pitcher will be out. When I saw this stamp set, I fell in love!!

Adorable, Right?!! This is the Sugar Pea Designs Pucker Up Stamp Set. I colored the adorable characters with Copic Markers, then cut them out with the coordinating Sugar Cuts. For the background, I wanted a fun texture that wasn’t too distracting. I decided to use the Sugar Pea Designs Harlequin Cover Plate to emboss yellow cardstock. I did this by using 2 silicone rubber embossing pads made for this technique for my die-cut machine. This gave a beautiful dry-embossed impression. I finished the background off with a strip of paper from My Favorite Things Black & White Stripes Paper Pack. On a strip of black cardstock, I heat embossed the sentiment, then used Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Squares to attach the fun characters. After adding the strip to the background, I cut the panel down, and mounted it onto an A2 top folding cardbase.

This card makes me so happy… I can’t wait for weekend BBQs with friends and family!
