Birthday

Happy Happy Birthday!

Hello crafting friends! Angelica here, and today I’m sharing an adorable birthday card made with stamps from A Muse Studio. This is my first stamp set from A Muse Studio. I’m really impressed with the fine detailed lines from their cling mount rubber stamps. And this little birthday girl… she melted my heart when I saw her!IMTZ1308

I used the balloons and birthday girl stamps from A Muse Studio Birthday Girl Stamp Set. When I started stamping the balloons, I made sure not to ink up the attached strings. I masked a few balloons so I had some in front of others. On another piece of white cardstock, I stamped the birthday girl, and colored her and the balloons with alcohol markers. I used a multiliner pen and T-ruler to draw balloon strings, and a white gel pen to add highlights. I used a sentiment from So Many Sentiments Stamp Set by Neat & Tangled, and a couple of coordinating strips of paper from My Favorite Things Party Patterns Paper Pack. After trimming the card front down, I attached it to a top-folding A2 size cardbase. I cut the birthday girl out, and used Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares to adhere her to the card. I brushed the cake frosting with a shimmer pen and crystal glaze for a finishing touch.CEFP6147

I love everything about this card. The stamps are so whimsical, and were fun to use. This card is going to make a special young lady smile on her birthday. I can’t wait to give it to her.

Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll be back next week with another fun card.
