A couple days ago I received an unexpected package. It was a fantastic surprise. My favorite YouTube/Podcasters sent me a shirt, coffee mug, and stickers with their logo on them. (A HUGE shout out to Nerd Soup. Check them out… especially if you’re a Westworld and/or Game Of Thrones fan!!) So of course I had to send them a thank you card. I stamped these adorable monsters from MFT’s (My Favorite Things) Monster Sized Stamp Set, onto Bristol Smooth paper, heat embossed them with Avery Elle Clear embossing powder, and colored them with Zig Watercolor markers. I used the coordinating diecuts to cut them out. I then die cut the word YOU 5 times from MFT’s All About You stamp and die set. (I used a light weight cardstock) After I glued the letters together, I brushed them with Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter pen, and covered the letters with Glossy Accents. I set them aside to dry overnight.
For the card front base, I stamped blobs of ink from MFT’s Distress Patterns Stamp Set on a 4.25×5.5 Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I stamp the sentiment on a strip of aquamarine cardstock, and heat embossed using Avery Elle white embossing powder. I glued the strip down, and added a strip of MFT’s Black & White Stripe paper at the bottom of the panel. I trimmed the panel down using MFT’s large Stitched rectangle die from Stax 1. (Lots of MFT going on! Can you tell I’m a HUGE fan of their products?!!) I glued the letters down using Ranger Multi Media Matte. For the monsters, I used Scrapbook Adhesives low profile foam squares. I adhered the panel to an A2 size cardbase, and stamped Thanks inside.
I’m sure this card will bring a smile to their face. It sure made me smile!
