Happy Tuesday everyone. Do I have some bright cards for you! Oh Waffle Flower Crafts… You are making me such a big fan! I chose Rainbows, Flower bouquets, AND a Sweet Sentiment stamp to make my cards this week… and I have many more planned in the near future.

For the first card, I did a lot of die cutting. I die cut 3 rainbows 15 times with colored cardstock, and 6 clouds using the Waffle Flower Crafts Rainbow Word Die set. I also die cut the word Rainbow 3 times with white cardstock. I colored a rainbow strip with colored pencils, then die cut the last rainbow word. I stacked all words together for height. I ink-blended Ice Spruce Distress Oxide Ink in an ombré style, and sprayed with a lot of water. I wanted an appearance of a gloomy, rainy day. I stamped the sentiment with words from from the Rainbows Stamp Set, using the grid sheet in my MISTI to align the words straight. I attached the rainbows with Scrapbook Adhesive Foam Squares. I used Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to adhere the word, and NUVO Red Berry Crystal Drops to dot the “i”.

For the second card, I stamped the flower in my MISTI with light ink, colored the flower as a rainbow with colored pencils, then re-stamped with NUVO Clear Mark Embossing Pad. I used Hero Arts White Embossing Powder to heat emboss the flower. I again used my MISTI grid paper to line up the sentiment words straight, stamped with the embossing pad ink, and heat set with Hero Arts white embossing powder. I trimmed the card front down, mounted it on a piece of Lawn Fawn Rainbow Petite Paper, and adhered to the card base. I prepared the word Rainbow as before, and attatched it to the card. This time I used Tonic Studios NUVO Gloss-Carnation Pink Crystal Drops for the I dot.
