Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I’m sharing a couple cards that made me so happy while making them. My favorite place to be when I was a child was my Grandma’s kitchen. When I saw Studio Katia’s Citrus Trimmings Stamp Set, it took me right back there.

This stamp set contains two long citrus stamps, and five sentiments. for my first card, I used my MISTI to stamp the image onto Crafter’s Companion Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock , and Copic markers to color the citrus and leaves. Then I went back and colored fine details with colored pencils. After coloring, I re-stamped my image in my MISTI with black ink to make the lines crisp again. I made sure to use my My Sweet Petunia’s Bar Magnet (super strong hold!) so my paper did not move. I then picked a fun sentiment, and used the grid sheet in my MISTI to help get the words straight. For the finishing touch, I used Lawn Fawn’s Glue Tube to add a thin strip of gold glitter paper and a strip of striped paper to the card front.

For the second card, I repeated the stamping and coloring process. After stamping the sentiment, I decided to leave the cardfront clean and simple.
