4th of July Birthday Congratulations Thank You Thinking Of You

Fourth of July WOW!

Happy 4th Of July everyone! I can’t believe July is here again! In my house, that means windows are open, family is over every weekend, kids and dogs are running wild in the backyard, and the grill is on every night. Especially on the 4th. And it’s so much fun to watch the kids excitement when it’s time for the fireworks show. I felt that giddy when I saw My Favorite Things new Fireworks Stamp Set.

For this first card, I used MFT’s Fireworks Stamp Set and You Wow Me Stamps and Die-namics. I used Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks to ink-blend the background, using a mini ink-blending tool.

I used MFT’S WOW Die-namics to cut out WOW. I did three layers of white cardstock, and the top layer with white glitter paper for lots of sparkle. I stacked them all together using Lawn Fawn Glue Tube. I used my MINI MISTI to stamp the layered fireworks. I used Nuvo Embossing ink, and heat embossed between each stamping with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.

I stamped You’re Amazing from the You Wow Me stamp set onto white cardstock with black ink, cut it down to a strip, and glued it to the panel. I glued WOW above the sentiment, attached the trimmed panel to a piece of fun foam for dimension, and adhered it to an A2 top-folding panel.

I also picked up MFT’s Fireworks Display Die-namics. How Fun is this die?? I randomly die cut fireworks out of navy blue cardstock. I backed it with 4.24×5.5 piece of double-sided adhesive, exposing adhesive through the fireworks holes. I took the other side of the adhesive off, and stuck the panel down on thin printer paper. Then I poured platinum glitter on the panel. Lots of glitter!!

I used a piece of paper to help rub the glitter into the exposed holes. After cleaning off the paper (and my sparkly workspace!), I ran the paper through my die cut machine to be sure all the glitter was attached to the adhesive. I brushed off my plates, and trimmed the panel down. I heat-embossed a sentiment from You Wow Me set using Hero Arts Gold Embossing powder, and glued the strip onto red glitter paper. believe me- this card SPARKLES!

I hope you have a great 4th of July! Thanks for stopping by.
