Happy Monday everyone! I have a pair of Lawn Fawn cards to share today. I’ve used the Sweetest Flavor Stamps and Lawn Cuts from their Summer release to make these adorable cards.
Card 1:
My first card is an interactive card. I used the new Reveal Wheel Die to give the ice cream cone different faces and flavors. The card was easy to put together. I did go to Lawn Fawn’s YouTube channel and watched a how-to video on constructing the reveal wheel card front. The directions were simple, really easy to follow. I used Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares to give the wheel room to spin, and cut out an ice cream window with the Reveal Wheel Sweetest Flavor Add-On. I colored the wheel in 3 flavors: strawberry, vanilla, and orange sherbert.
I also used the same add-on die to cut out several coordinating cardstock ice cream scoops. I love how darling the size of the scoops are with the die. I stamped out 6 ice cream cones and colored the cones. I snipped the ice cream tops off, and used Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to add the cardstock. I glued them on the card front, and stamped cherries and hearts around the cones.
(The smallest heart is from Octopi My Heart Stamp Set.) I stamped the sentiment onto coordinating dark pink cardstock, using Nuvo Embossing ink, and heat embossed with Lawn Fawn White Embossing Powder. I used the same colored cardstock for the cardbase. After adhering everything together, I put the card in my MISTI, and stamped TURN ME (from Reveal Wheel Sentiments), and the faces in the ice cream window. For my finishing touch, I added shimmer to the ice cream scoops, hearts, and cherries, and crystal glaze to the hearts and cherries for shine.
Card 2:
Because I had all of my supplies out, I decided to make an easy second card. I quickly stamped ice cream cones in a light grey ink all over a white cardstock panel. I die cut two circles out, using papers from Lawn Fawn’s Rainbow 6×6 rainbow pack. (I used the reveal wheel die to cut the scallop circle.) I had some stamped ice cream cones left over from the other card, so I colored them and added faces. I stamped and colored the cherries too. I die cut all of them out, used 3D foam squares to adhere the cones to the card, and glued the cherries on top. I die cut the word Hugs 4 times, and stacked them for dimension. I added shimmer and crystal glazed again for my finishing touch.
Lawn Fawn never fails with their creative ways to help us make the cutest cards. These were a lot of fun to put together. I hope you’re inspired to create something now too!
Thanks For stopping by!
