Pretty Pink Posh Anemones

Hello friends! I am sharing a colorful card today showcasing the beautiful Anemones stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh. I have colored these flowers in a few different color combinations, this card being my favorite. I absolutely love orange and blue together, and these soft hues are perfect for autumn!

The Oxides blend sooooo easily together on Canson Watercolor paper. after I blended the inks on the paper, I sprayed big water droplets, then dabbed them off with a paper towel. I set the paper aside to dry while I colored the flowers.

I stamped the flowers onto copic-friendly cardstock. I figured out a combination of colors to use after practicing on a side sheet. This is a new combination for me, and has become a quick favorite. From darkest to lightest, the petals combination is YR68, YR 16, YR12, YR00. The middle is E37, E07, YR00.  I love how the orange flowers pops next to the blue background!

After I was done coloring,  I chose a beautiful sentiment from Birdie Friends stamp set. I then used  Versamark embossing ink and Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers, then glued them onto the panel to frame the sentiment. I trimmed the panel down, backed it with fun foam, and attached it to an A2 size card base. My final touch was adding Sparkling Clear Jewels with Ranger Multi Media, Matte.
