Today I have a fun holiday card I made using products from Pretty Pink Posh’s November release. When I first saw these Penguin Pals, I fell in love. They’re so festive and fun, and they put me in the mood for snow, scarves, and rosy cheeks!
I first stamped and colored the penguins. The coloring was kept really simple. The penguins colors are: C5, C3, YR04, E50, E51, R00; and C1 for side cast shadow. The scarves and hats are: R29, R27, R24, YG23, YG03, YG01, and Santa hats C1, C00 for fur.
After coloring all the images, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For the background, I die cut Pine Sprigs out of green card stock, and sponged on Forest Moss Distress ink to add more dimension. I colored some of the tips with an Embossing pen, then dipped the sprigs into Lawn Fawn textured white Embossing Powder. I used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder. I cut a 5.5×3.75 inch panel of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Christmas paper pad and glued it to an A2 size card base, followed by a thin strip of black card stock. I stamped a sentiment from Christmas Friends stamp set with Versafine Black Onyx ink. I used 3D foam squares to add the penguins to the card, and tucked/glued the pine sprigs behind them.
That’s all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!
