Hello Friends! I have a fun card to share today mixing old and new My Favorite Things products. The main attraction? my new friend, the Friendly Fox. I am in love with this fox. Today I dolled it up for a fun and “flirty” love card.

I have a few assembled foxes on hand. As soon as I received the die set, I die-cut the fox in several colors. Now they have a special place on my desk just waiting to be used.

For the background, I used MFT’s Roses All Over background stamp. I stamped it on watercolor paper with embossing ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Next I used purple tape to tape it to a clip board, and sprayed it heavily with water. I tapped colors of Tonic Shimmer Powders onto the paper, and let the pigments move. I used Blue Blitz, Violet Brocade, Atlantis Burst, Cherry Bomb, and Solar Flare. Since I had all of my tools and supplies out, I stamped several backgrounds that I will use for future cards.

To assemble the card, I trimmed the panel with a die from the Stitched Rectangle A2 STAX set 2. I adhered it to craft foam, then attached it to an A2 size card base. I added the fox with thin adhesive squares, and added a daisy that I made using a retired MFT Dasiy Die-namics. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Sassy Pants Love stamp set, and used Stitched Sentiment Strip De-namic to trim the black card stock. I glued the sentiment to the card.
