I’m back today with a fun pair of cards using all paper scraps from my stash. I kept the colors the same on both cards, and used the new Double The Love Die-namics from My Favorite Thing’s Heart Art Card Kit.
For my first card, I used the positive die cuts from the horizontal Double The Love Die-namics. I glued coordinating pink and red paper strips onto a piece of printer paper. I die-cut the paper with the Love die, then die-cut Love one more time out of white card stock. I inlaid the striped love into the white card stock, then added a sentiment from Hug In A Mug stamp set. For my final touch, I added a strip of Black & White Stripes Paper and two hearts I die-cut using the Lots Of Hearts Outlines Die-namics.
For my second card, I glued the striped negative onto a card front, and trimmed it with the largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2. I inlaid the white Love die cuts into the striped negative and glued on two thin strips of black card stock. I stamped a sentiment from the new Joyful Heart Bears stamp set, and again added a strip of Black & White Stripes paper and Lots Of Hearts Outlines die cuts to finish the card front. I added the panel to a piece of craft foam, then adhered it to an A2 size card base.
I hope this gives you some ideas on how to put paper scraps to good use! Thanks for stopping by!
I totally love the two-fer! Great idea for using up your scraps too!
