Anytime I see illustrated strawberries, it takes me back to my childhood, and my love for Strawberry Shortcake. The strawberries in the Punny Notes stamp set are no exception! I love the whimsical look of this stamp, and knew I was using it on my next project.
After I stamped the strawberries all over a sugar cube card stock panel, I used the following markers to color them: RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29, YG01, YG05. I trimmed the panel using the largest Stitched Rectangle Stacklet, and attached the panel to a 4×5.25 panel of fruit punch cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink onto fruit punch card stock and heat embossed with Taylored Expressions white embossing powder. I used a heart from the Heart Stacklets to cut the heart, and used a larger heart die to cut Cupcake card stock. I used thin foam squares attach them together, then glued them to the card front. The smaller hearts I cut from fruit punch card stock using the heart dies in the Notecard Accessories die set. I attached the card front to an A2 size card base, and used a white Gel pen to add accents to the strawberries. My final touch was adding Glossy Accents to the hearts.
I just love how sweet this card is. I hope I’ve inspired some crafty ideas for you today. Thanks for stopping by!
Such a cute card – and the coloring of those strawberries is spot-on! This would make a cute classroom Valentine too. Great job!
