Hi friends! It’s Wednesday, which means there’s a new weekly Sketch Challenge on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog. Every Wednesday this month I’ll be sharing a project following the weekly sketch.
For those of you that are new to the Sketch Challenge, it’s a weekly challenge in which you can create and link up any project you make inspired from the sketch provided. And the best part is you’ll have a chance to win a $50 gift voucher to the MFT shop!
Here’s this week’s sketch:

I used the new Stacey Yacula It’s A Mice Time To Celebrate stamp set to build my scene.

My first step was stamping and coloring this sweet mouse and balloon with Copic markers. I used the coordinating Die-namics to cut the images out. (I LOVE how this adorable mouse looks like he’s skipping!) On a white card stock panel, I used the Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress ink to make the background clouds, then trimmed the panel with the largest rectangle from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I used Grassy Edges Die-namics to die-cut grass out of green card stock. I inked the edges of the grass with Forest Moss Distress Ink. I glued the tall grass to the cloud background, then used foam adhesive to add the shorter grass. I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock, and trimmed it down. I used thin foam adhesive squares to add the mouse, balloon, and sentiment. My final step was adding the finished panel to craft foam, and attaching it to an a2 size card base.

I can’t wait to see what fun projects you all make this week! bBe sure to head over to the MFT Card Challenge page to enter. I’ll be back next Wednesday with a new sketch and project. See you then!
Aw! Adorable! 😊
