Hi friends! It’s Wednesday, which means there’s a new weekly Sketch Challenge on the My Favorite Things Challenge & Inspiration Blog. It’s the last Wednesday in February, so that means this is my last guest post for the MFT Sketch Challenge. A big Thank You goes out to My Favorite Things for inviting me to be a Featured Designer this month. I’ve enjoyed playing with all the sketches, and I hope I’ve given you all a little inspiration along the way.
For those of you that are new to the Sketch Challenge, it’s a weekly challenge in which you can create and link up any project you make inspired from the sketch provided. And the best part is you’ll have a chance to win a $50 gift voucher to the MFT shop!
Here’s this week’s sketch:

I used the adorable Stacey Yacula It’s A Mice Time To Celebrate stamp set for my card.

I stamped all the images from the stamp set and picked out a color pallet of Copic Markers. I love these pinks, teals, and yellows together. (I also used R00 for belly and ears, YR23 and Y21 for darkest and lightest yellows.)

I used the coordinating Die-namics to cut the images out. After picking a sentiment out from the stamps, I picked a matching mouse, then set the others aside for another card. I stamped the sentiment onto black card stock with embossing ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I trim the paper down to a strip, and added a fishtail at the end of the strip. To assemble the card, I used the largest rectangle for the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX to trim a white card stock panel, and a pattern paper from the Painted Prints Smitten paper pack. I cut the pattern paper at an angle, and glued it to the white card panel. I glued a very thin black trim above the pattern paper. I added the sentiment with thin foam adhesive, and added the dancing mouse and present above it. I attached the card front to craft foam, then glued the foam to an A2 size card base.

I can’t wait to see what fun projects you all make this week! Be sure to head over to the MFT Card Challenge page to enter.
Aww! So cute! Love the sentiment and image lol how adorable! ☺😍
