I have four cards to share with you today. I am obsessed right now with Heffy Doodle Stencils! I have incorporated a stencil into each card I made. Lets talk about the first one:
This skyline was made using Distress Oxide Inks and the amazing City Scape Stencil. This is easily my favorite stencil in my craft room. It’s a three-in-one stencil, so you can make the buildings, mask the buildings, and add windows. So clever!
For the sentiment, I die-cut the word Super 3 times and stacked them for height. I die-cut one more word out of white glitter card stock, and glued it to the top. I positioned the word where I wanted it to be on the card front, and put the sentiment stamps around it. I stamped and white heat-embossed the words. I covered the buildings and stamped words with paper, and splattered watered-down white acrylic paint to make stars. I used a white gel pen to make stars close to the buildings. Next I stamped the superheros and stars from the Superdudes Stamp Set onto white card stock, and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I picked out the superhero and shooting star I wanted for this card, and attached them to the card front with thin adhesive squares. I glued on the die cut word, mounted the card front to craft foam, and attached it to an A2 size card base. My final touch was adding three white glitter stars I die cut using a star die from the Tag Along Dies set.
My next card I used the awesome Rays The Roof Stencil to make the background.
I used Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks for the rays. I stamped and white heat-embossed the sentiment onto black card stock, and glued it onto the card front. I added thin strips of pattern paper and gold glitter paper for more contrast. I used thin adhesive squares to attach the superhero girl and shooting starts to the card front. I mounted the panel onto craft foam, and attached it to a card base.
My third card features the adorable Dotty Lottie Stencil and Gnome Matter What stamp set.
I stamped and colored the images with Copic Markers, then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used a light warm gray ink to add the stenciled dots, and die-cut a strip of green grass with a Grassy Lass Border Die. I stamped and white heat-embossed the sentiment onto black card stock, and trimmed it down to a thin strip. I glued the grass and sentiment to the card front, then used a stitched rectangle die to trim it down. I added a strip of pattern paper and red card stock for contrast, and used thin foam adhesive squares to attach the images. I foam-mounted the panel, then added it to a card base.
My last card features the beautiful Ring A Rosies Stencil, and the sweet Bots Of Love stamp set.
I seriously can’t get over how cute this card turned out! I used Distress Oxide inks to make a pastel circle rainbow, then used the stencil to add glitter paste.
I stamped, Copic colored, and used the coordinating dies to cut out the adorable robots. I colored them in pastel colors to match the background. I die-cut the word Hugs three times out of white card stock, and stacked them for height. I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the stamp set onto pink card stock, replacing the word Love with the Hugs die cut. I used a sentiment banner die from the Tag Along Dies to cut the sentiment out. I added thin foam squares to the images and sentiment strip, then attached everything to the card panel. I used Ranger Multi Media Matte on the word and adhesive squares for extra strength to stick to the glitter paste.

i love the Bots of Love. they are quickly becoming one of my favorite stamp sets. i think i’ve made like 6 or 7 cards with them now and every single time I smile and giggle my way through the card. It’s just so much fun. I love your take on it.
Oh wow, I love that pastel rainbow. I’m slowly building my Oxide collection, but those colors are going to have to go to the top of my list: Shabby Shutters wasn’t really on my radar until recently.
