I seriously can’t get over how cute and clever this stamp/die set is. I’m talking about Art Impressions Dog House Cubbies. These dogs have such playful expressions on their faces… I just love them!

I stamped the images onto watercolor paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added color with the markers, then used clean water and a #4 watercolor brush to move the color around.

For the background scene, I blended Salty Ocean and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide inks for the ground and sky, and trimmed the panel down to 4 x 3.25.  I added thin foam squares to the back of the houses, then attached the dogs in the doorways. I added the image onto the card panel, and stamped the sentiment.

I attached the panel to an A2 size card base, and added a dark pink scallop frame I die cut and stacked three times for dimension. My final touch was adding the flag and remaining two dogs to the card.
