Today I have a special project to share. For the next week, The Taylored Expressions Creative Team will be using one product three different ways. I have picked the lovely Bloom Where You’re Planted die set as my featured product.
For my first card, I used the flower and small circle dies to die-cut several flowers out of masking paper. I attached the masks to a Sugar Cube card stock panel, then ink-blend Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide inks. I chose oxides because they are so easy to blend, and I love the chalky matte finish. I pulled the masks off after blending, trimmed the panel with a Stitched Rectangle Stacklets, and add a stamped sentiment from the Whole Lama Love stamp set.
For my second card, I used the same flower die to do white-on-white die-cut inlay.
I trimmed two panels of Sugar Cube card stock to 4.25 x 5.5. With one of the panels, I die-cut flowers in a random order. Once I die cut all the flowers, I attached the die-cut panel to the second panel, then glued the flowers into the negative spaces. I trimmed the panel down to 4 x 5.25, attached it to craft foam for dimension, and glued it to an A2 card base. I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from the Inside Scoop- Birthday stamp set onto Oreo card stock, and attached it to the card.
For my third card, I built a flower with the dies in the set.
I used the coordinating inks to each card stock used to add shading around the edges. I built the flower up with foam adhesive squares. I used the Set The Scene Cloud Stencil on the card base, and stamped a sentiment from Just My Type stamp set. I cut a window out of a card stock panel using an Inside Scallop Circle, and trimmed the panel using a Stitched Rectangle die. I attached the panel to the card base with TE Foam Adhesive, and glued the flower on.
I hope I have given you ideas on how to use your products in different ways. Be sure to stop by the Taylored Expressions Blog for more three-in-one ideas. Bye for now!
Such a fun mix of cards!
