Pretty Pink Posh Happy Easter

When I see pastel colors, I automatically think of spring, and even more of Easter. I am sharing an Easter card today that I made using the new Easter Eggs stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh. I was inspired by my dear friend Dana Kirby, who made an ink-blended pastel rainbow too.

I white heat-embossed the eggs in random order on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. I picked out a rainbow of pastel Distress Oxide inks to blend onto the paper: Scattered Stray, Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, Lilac, Cracked Pistachio, Shabby Shutters. I used a blending brush for a soft,  even blend. I trimmed the panel down to 4 x 5.25, and added it to an A2 card base. Next I used the straight Scallop Borders die to die-cut a scallop edge onto white card stock. I glued on a strip of pattern paper, trimmed it, and used double-sided adhesive to attach it to the left side of the card base. My last step was die-cutting a pink card stock rectangle, using Storybook 1 Die . I stamped and white heat-embossed the sentiment from the stamp set. I added it to the card front with foam adhesive.
