It’s Day 4 of the MFT February Release Countdown, and oh my… Stacey Yacula is back with TWO stamp set this month! Of course my heart melted when I was these sweet images.
This little cutie pie is from the new Stacey Yacula Piggy Pebbles stamp set. There is also a coordinating Die-namics set. I used a hill stamp from Stacey Yacula’s Scene Builder stamp set. I stamped the piglet with Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink onto scratch paper, then stamped the image again (without re-inking the image) onto watercolor paper for a soft line. I made a mask for the legs, and stamped the hill. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the scene:
- Pig: 028 Pale Pink, 069 Blush, 220 Tea Rose (cheeks)
- Grassy Hill: 041 Light Green, 046 Mid Green, 050 Yellow, 064 Mid Brown
- Flower Pot: 066 Dark Oatmeal, 072 beige, 043 Olive Green, O46 Mid Green, 803 English Lavender
- Sky: 302 Haze Blue
After I stamped the sentiment, I trimmed the panel down and framed it with an A2 Rectangle Frame Die-namics. I stamped a pink background with the new All Lined Up Background stamp, and trimmed the panel to 4 x 5.25. I foam-mounted the panel, and attached it to an A2 size card panel. My last step was adding the colored scene.
That’s all that I have for today. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see more sneak peeks of the April release. Everything you see this week will be available on Release Day, Tuesday, April 9, at 10am EST. Thanks for stopping by!
