It’s time to start the countdown to My Favorite Things May release! There’s so many fantastic products coming, and I can’t wait for you to see everything! I have used a few new products today, starting with the adorable Stacey Yacula Friendly Foxes stamp set.

Stacey Yacula’s illustrations always amaze me. I love coloring her images in no-line style, and that’s exactly what I did for this card. I stamped and masked the foxes, then used the SY Landscape stamp set to build the background. I masked the landscape and clouds, then quickly blended blue ink for the sky. I colored the images first with Copic Markers, then added shading and details with sharp Polychromos.

I used the gorgeous Flower Silhouettes Stamp Set to stamp the background of flowers. I picked coordinating papers for the right side of the card to add a bit more contrast. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink, then heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I used a die from the new Skinny Strips Die-namics to die-cut the sentiment, then added it to the card with foam squares.
