Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop

Graduation Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day… cute little critters and beautiful flowers… are you ready for a new PPP Release?? Today is day 2 of a two-day Pretty Pink Posh blog hop. You can see yesterday’s blog hop by going to the Pretty Pink Posh Blog. You can see the entire release  HERE. A full list of the hop lineup is listed below, as well as details for giveaways on this 2-day hop!

When I saw the new Elephant Friends stamp set, I was instantly in love. I have made several cards with this set already. For this Mother’s Day card, I colored the momma and baby elephants with Copic Markers. I used the new Wide Stripes Stencil (YES, Stencils are in this release!!) to make make my card front. I blended Grout Gray and Tickled Pink inks over the stencil. I used the small frame from the Scallop Frame Dies to die-cut the window. I blended a bit of pink ink inside the window on the card base, then stamped the sentiment stamp from the new Mother’s Day stamp set.

I assembled the card front together with foam adhesive, attached it to the card base, then added three Pink Blush Jewels to finish the card.

Since I had the stamp set out, I decided to make a Welcome Baby card. Christmas and Baby cards are by FAR my favorite themes for handmade cards. And these elephants are perfect for a baby theme! I Copic colored the elephants again, then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I stamped a bow tie from the Father’s Day Stamp Set, colored it pink, die-cut it with the coordinating die, and glued it to the baby elephant’s head. For the card front, I used the new Bow Ties Stencil on Tickled Pink card stock, and blended coordinating ink over it. I used a Scallop Oval Die to die-cut the window.

I added a white frame, and attached the elephants in the window with foam squares. I finished the card with the new Congrats Script die, which I cut and stacked three times for height.

For my last card, I used the gorgeous Peonies stamp set. For the background, I used the Wide Stripes Stencil again, using yellow, orange, and pink inks to color in the lines. I stamped the flowers onto watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and used a mixture of Tombow Markers, Altenew watercolors, and Polychromos to get the colors I wanted.

I used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images, then attached them to the card front with foam adhesive. I used the Hello die from Hello Friend Script die set to die-cut my word three times. I glued them together, then added the word to my card front. I attached the card front to an A2 size card base, then added three Caribbean Blue Jewels as my finishing touch.

That’s all I have for today. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope I have inspired some ideas for you to create with. You’re next stop on the hop is the talented Megan Quinn. (She’s one of my Instagram crushes! If you don’t follow her, you should!!)
