When I saw the new Elephant Friends stamp set, I was instantly in love. I have made several cards with this set already. For this Mother’s Day card, I colored the momma and baby elephants with Copic Markers. I used the new Wide Stripes Stencil (YES, Stencils are in this release!!) to make make my card front. I blended Grout Gray and Tickled Pink inks over the stencil. I used the small frame from the Scallop Frame Dies to die-cut the window. I blended a bit of pink ink inside the window on the card base, then stamped the sentiment stamp from the new Mother’s Day stamp set.

I assembled the card front together with foam adhesive, attached it to the card base, then added three Pink Blush Jewels to finish the card.

fullsizeoutput_1861Since I had the stamp set out, I decided to make a Welcome Baby card. Christmas and Baby cards are by FAR my favorite themes for handmade cards. And these elephants are perfect for a baby theme! I Copic colored the elephants again, then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I stamped a bow tie from the Father’s Day Stamp Set, colored it pink, die-cut it with the coordinating die, and glued it to the baby elephant’s head. For the card front, I used the new Bow Ties Stencil on Tickled Pink card stock, and blended coordinating ink over it. I used a Scallop Oval Die to die-cut the window.

I added a white frame, and attached the elephants in the window with foam squares. I finished the card with the new Congrats Script die, which I cut and stacked three times for height.

For my last card, I used the gorgeous Peonies stamp set. For the background, I used the Wide Stripes Stencil again, using yellow, orange, and pink inks to color in the lines. I stamped the flowers onto watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and used a mixture of Tombow Markers, Altenew watercolors, and Polychromos to get the colors I wanted.

I used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images, then attached them to the card front with foam adhesive. I used the Hello die from Hello Friend Script die set to die-cut my word three times. I glued them together, then added the word to my card front. I attached the card front to an A2 size card base, then added three Caribbean Blue Jewels as my finishing touch.
