New items are in the Taylored Expressions Shop today… Just in time for Father’s Day cards! There’s a lot of inspiration on the TE Blog today and tomorrow from the creative team and special guests. Be sure to stop by to see all the fun projects!
I am in love with the new stamp set Dadisms. The sentiments are great! And the clean font used in the set is a perfect match with TE Caps Lock dies. I exchanged the word Happy from the sentiment stamp, and replaced it with Caps Lock-HAPPY. I I die-cut the word three times from Sugar Cube card stock, then glued and stacked the letters together for height. Next I die-cut several card stock colors and glued them to the top of each letter. On the Toffee card base, I stamped Star Fall Background with Toffee ink. I stamped Father’s Day onto a strip of Sugar Cube card stock, glued the letters above, and attached it to the card base.
I kept the colors very neutral for this card. I used Toffee, Chocolate Truffle, and Sugar Cube card stock, and Toffee ink for the Geo Quad Background. I stacked and glued the die cuts again for height, then attached them to the card front. I used foam adhesive to attach the card front to an A2 size card base.
I love the impact die cut words have on a card. Matched with this new stamp set, Dad cards are quick and easy to make for any occasion.
I hope these two cards have give you ideas on ways to use the new Dadisms stamp set. Click the picture below to head over to the TE Shop. Thanks for stopping by!
