Tomorrow is release day for the stunning MFT Spotlight Poppies Card Kit. Have you stopped by the MFT Blog to see the design team’s inspiring ideas? So many gorgeous cards! Here’s a picture of what’s included in the kit:

I used a flower from the  BG Poppy Blooms stamp set for today’s card.

There’s three flowers in the Poppy Blooms stamp set, and perfectly match the three full blooms on the Poppies Background stamp. I stamped the flower onto white card stock with MFT Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, and colored it with Copic Markers, using V91 first to add shade. I then colored the flower with the following markers: YR23, Y26, Y23, Y21. I used a multiliner pen to draw in the stem. I colored the stem with Copic marker YG61, then finished the flower and stem with Polychromos pencils to add more detail and shading. I used the new Free With $60 Thank You Die-namics to die-cut You 3 times, then glued and stacked them for height. I stamped a sentiment from All About You stamp set, and attached the die-cut word. I added foam adhesive to the back of the card front, and adhered it to an A2 size card base.
