Happy Tuesday friends. I have a fun card to share today. I love rainbows, and I love butterflies…so why not combine the two, right?? I used the Frilly Frames Stripes Dies to bring dimension to the card.
I will admit – this card was put together in front of the family TV! I die-cut all the images and then got comfortable on the couch. That’s what I love about die-cutting… I can piece everything together outside of my craft room.
I went through my bin of card stock scraps, pulling out a rainbow of colors and die-cut butterflies from the Basic Mini Shape Dies II. I also die-cut the bodies from black card stock. I glued them together, then got my card front ready. I added foam strips on the back side of the white Frilly Frames die cut for added dimension and then attached it to a card base. I used a white gel pen to add highlights to the butterflies and attached them to the card. My last step was adding a white heat-embossed sentiment from the Color Me Happy stamp set.
I love the white-on-white dimension, and is a perfect backdrop for the rainbow of butterflies.
That’s all that I have for today. Be sure to stop by the Sunny Studio Stamps blog for more inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!
