I can not believe we are already in the middle of July! Where I live in the Pacific Northwest, the summer weather has been so mild. 75 degree days pretty much since May. It’s been nice, and most dinners are out on our back porch. I’m sharing a tropical summer card today that reminds me of when I lived in hotter (and more HUMID) regions.

I can’t get enough of these Tropical Toucans. They are so adorable. I colored them and the branches with Copic markers, then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
For the background, I blended Tropical Teal ink over the Triangles Stencil onto white card stock. I splattered Black Soot Distress ink, mixed with water, all over the panel.

While the panel was drying, I used the Happy Summer Script Die to die-cut black card stock three times. I stacked and glued the words together for dimension.
to assemble the card, I added craft foam to the back of the stenciled panel, and attached it to a card base. I used foam squares to add the birds and branches, and Ranger Multi Media Matte to add the words. My final touch was a sprinkle of Flamingo Pink Jewels.

I hope I have helped with ideas pn using these products together. That’s all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!
