Pinkfresh Studio Painted Florals

Hello friends! It’s such a pleasure to be here today, sharing Pinkfresh Studio blog. I have a set of cards showcasing the gorgeous Painted Florals Washi. This is a great set to have on hand, or to give as a gift to a loved one.

I recently got my hands on the new Just A Little Lovely 6 x 6 paper pack. these papers are so beautiful! The papers are a nice heavy weight, and they match the Painted Florals Washi perfectly! I picked out watercolor papers from the pack to make the panels for my cards. I trimmed them to 4 x 5.25, then used the Oval Foliage die set to die-cut the oval onto all three panels. I used my MISTI to stamp the matching oval from the Oval Foliage stamp set with embossing ink. I poured Platinum embossing powder over the ink, and used a heat tool to melt the powder. I backed the panels with foam adhesive, and attached them to A2-size card bases.

I am so amazed at how quick and easy card-making is using the new Pinkfresh Studio Washi! The coloring is already done, so all I had to do was back them with card stock. I made a few panels of the floral clusters from the Painted Florals roll, and used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. I made floral swags with the clusters for the top and bottom of all three ovals. I cut a few clusters apart to fill in small gaps. Once I liked all the placements, I attached them to the card with foam squares.

I used words from Essentials: Classic Word Dies as my sentiments. I die-cut the words from Raspberry Sorbet card stock three times. I stacked and glued each word together for dimension. After I glued the words to the cards, I added sparkle with a shimmer pen, and shine with Crystal Glaze.

I hope I have given you new ideas using the new Washi Tapes. That’s all that I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!
