I’ve been making a lot of birthday cards lately, and I couldn’t help but add one more card to my collection. I recently received the TE Big Bold Balloons stencil. What a perfect match for the new TE Blender Brushes! Let me share how I made this card.

I used the new Make Art Stay-tion for this project. Using the grid lines on the base, I taped a panel of Sugar Cube card stock down, positioned a balloon onto the panel, then used the heavy magnets to hold the stencil in place. I covered the other balloons so I wouldn’t get unwanted ink on my panel.

I blended ink heavier on the right side, making my light source look like its coming from the left. I staggered the balloons throughout the panel, making sure to leave room for a birthday sentiment in the bottom corner.
Once I was done blending and the sentiment was stamped, I used a Copic Mulitliner pen and T-ruler to draw balloon strings. To finish the card, I added the panel to a Toffee card Base with foam adhesive for dimension.

I love how this card turned out! It’s so clean and cheerful. I hope I have given you some birthday card inspiration. That’s all that I have for today. Thanks for stopping by!
