Hero Arts + Pinkfresh Studio Collaboration: You Make A Difference

Hi friends! I’m so excited to be part of a special blog hop celebrating the Hero Arts and Pinkfresh Studio Collaboration Release of the beautiful You Make A Difference Stamp Set (PF).

If you’re hopping along today, you should be arriving from the Pinkfresh Studio blog. A full list of the hop lineup is listed below, as well as details for giveaways on today’s hop.

I have two cards to share today. My first card is a clean and simple one, showcasing one of the fabulous sentiments in the new You Make A Difference Stamp Set (HA).

I used Pinkfresh Studio Aquamarine, Bubble Gum, and Sunshine watercolors to make this soft rainbow. I used Purple Tape to mask off the watercolor paper, then did wet-on-dry watercoloring to make the rainbow. This is a great quick and easy way to make a simple background.

Once the panel was dry, I gold heat-embossed the sentiment, then used foam adhesive to add a frame I made using the PF Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set. I attached the card front with strong double-sided adhesive to an A2-size card base.

My next card took a bit more time, but it was well worth it.

The moment I saw this stamp set, I knew I wanted to color it with pencils. So I pulled out my Polychromos pencils and pencil sharpener, and got busy. I stamped the image onto light gray card stock with light ink. (Almost too light of ink. I could barely see the lines before I finished!) I worked my way around the panel, keeping my pencil sharp, and my panel free from any shavings. Once I was finished, I trimmed a little bit off from all four edges with my paper trimmer, then attached it to an A2-size card base.

I used a die from the Essentials: Classic Words Die Set to die-cut Hello three times from white card stock. I stacked and glued the words together for dimension. I attached the word to finish the card.

I hope I have helped inspire ideas for this fabulous stamp set. Your next stop on the hop is the sweet and fabulous Ashlea Cornell. Thanks so much for stopping by!
