Autumn/Thanksgiving Thinking Of You

The Greetery Get Cozy, Get Crafty August Release Full Reveal: Day 1

Welcome Friends! I am so excited to be writing my first blog as a The Greetery Design Team Member. Betsy Veldman is a woman I have admired since the moment I found her online. She is so inspirational, and her beautiful character shows through her art. It is truly an honor to be working with her, and with the rest of her amazing design team.

Today begins the reveal of the gorgeous Get Cozy, Get Crafty August 2019 Release. You are in for a treat these next four days as all of the new products are showcased.

My first card features the new Autumn Sketches stamp set and dies. This is a beautiful layered stamp set, giving you options for detail. I used two different red inks on the leaves, and stamped the tree limb with gray ink. I used a dark brown ink for the line detail. I die cut the branch with the coordinating die, then attached it on top of another stamped branch with foam squares. I stamped the sentiment before trimming the panel down and attaching it to a white card base. I finished the card by adding a white frame for a white-on-white clean look.

My second card features the stunning Cotton Comforts stamp set and dies.

This layered stamp set is accompanied with words to make comforting sentiments. I stamped several cotton stems, using different shades of grays and browns. I put together sentiments for two cards, stamping them with a crisp black ink onto white card stock. I trimmed the panels down, mounted them onto black card stock and gray card stock, then attached them to card bases. I used thin foam squares to add the stems.
