Hello friends! Are you ready for pumpkins, leaves, and Halloween? It’s PPP August Release Day, and there’s a great variety of Fall-themed stamps, dies, stencils, jewels, and star confetti in the PPP shop now.
I used the new Pumpkin Background stencil to dry-emboss a white card stock panel, using my die-cut machine and rubber pads for this process. I also used the stencil to blend Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink onto white card stock, then added a thin layer of Nuvo Moonstone Glitter Paste before removing the stencil. I set the panel aside for a few hours to dry.
I die-cut two Grateful Shaker pumpkins- one from the middle of the glittery stenciled panel (I used this panel for a quick shaker card later on), and one from brown shimmer card stock. I added the negative orange glitter die-cut pieces to the inside of the brown pumpkin window, then added the pumpkin to the embossed panel with foam squares. I attached the panel to a card base with foam adhesive to finish the card.
I love how clean this card turned out. And that shaker card I was talking about earlier… it turned out soooo cute! I used acetate to close the front of the shaker window, added Metallic Gold Jewels inside the window, then attached it to a card base. I added another brown pumpkin to the front, and offset the stenciled Grateful word for added interest. Here’s a picture:
