It’s Day 4 of the MFT September Release Countdown, and today brings a new round of sneak peeks, including the new Cafe All Day Die-namics.
When I saw the Coffee Cup Shaker Pouches that coordinate with the Cafe All Day Die-namics, my teenagers immediately came to mind. They’re all about the frozen drinks served at Starbucks. So I had to make a sugary drink just for them.
First- let’s quickly talk about the Brush Splatter background stamp. I can’t get enough of this stamp. I have used it four times this week! It looks like such a simple stamp, but it will bring so much interest to your projects, quietly or boldly. I stamped it with Grout ink for a quiet background. I trimmed the stamped panel with a Wonky Stitch Rectangle, then die-cut a coffee cup window. I used 1/8 in Scor Tape to attach the shaker pouch to the inside of the panel. I filled the pouch with Pretty Pink Posh iridescent hearts, then closed it with a Pink Sherbet Alcohol Ink panel that I had glued a straw to.
I attached pink whipped cream and an acetate lid to the panel, then added more sparkle with a strip of glitter paper. I stuck the rest of the straw into the whipped cream, and attached the panel to a card base with foam adhesive.
The sentiment comes from the new Cup Of Love stamp set. I stamped and gold heat-embossed the sentiment, trimmed it with a Skinny Strips Die-namics, then used my detail scissors to snip the sentiment into small strips. I used thin foam squares to attach them to the card.
Head over to the MFT Blog to see more of today’s sneak peeks, and check out the inspiration and ideas from the design team. Everything you see this week will be available on Tuesday, September 3rd, at 10am EST. Thanks for stopping by!
