The FABULOUS new Starry Night Card Kit from My Favorite Things is now available! Here’s a picture of the kit contents:
I used the Color Burst Watercolor Powders to make a night sky for today’s card.
I tapped a little Blueberry Color Burst in the top corner of my watercolor paper, and Grape Jelly in the opposite bottom corner. I sprayed the panel lightly with water, and let the colors start moving. I had my heat tool ready to dry the panel before the colors became too smooth. I love the blotchy look. Once the panel was dry, I die-cut it with the Starry Nights Vertical Die-namics.
I used the Window Die-namics to die cut a window from a panel of white card stock. I stamped the sentiment, then used foam adhesive on the backside of the panel to attach the window back in place. I stamp and colored the cat, using Copic Markers. I attached the cat to the window with thin foam squares. After I attached the panel to a card base, I white heat-embossed Wish onto Blueberry card stock, then die-cut it. I add it with thin foam squares to finish the card.
