Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! I am so happy to part of the Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop. The Holiday season is my favorite time of the year to be with my loved ones… and to craft! This release is filled with gorgeous holiday and winter images that make me want to color all day long. I can’t wait for you to see the beautiful creations the amazing crafters on this blog hop has made to inspire you! If you’re hopping along today, you should be arriving from the amazing Amy Kolling’s blog. You will find the full blog hop lineup listed below, as well as details for giveaways on today’s hop!

This is the new Skiing By stamp set. Living close to two different ski resorts, this stamp set really makes my heart happy!! I used several new PF ink pads to build this scene… (more details on those ink pads coming soon!!) I blended Summer Shower and Seaside inks onto snow cone card stock for the sky. I stamped and white heat-embossed the snow, then moved onto the skiers. I stamped them with Misty Coast gray ink, and colored them with with Polochromos pencils. Once I finished coloring, I used the Skiing By Die Set to die-cut the images, as well as the mountains and hills. I added a shadow to the mountains with warm gray Poloychromos pencils, then trimmed all of the die cuts with the large Essentials: Stitched Rectangle die. I attached the mountain scene to a card base, and stamped the pencil trees with Licorice ink. I added the skiers with foam squares, and finished the card off with a silver heat-embossed sentiment.

My next card features the beautiful Cozy Christmas Wishes Stamp.

I used Misty Coast gray ink and my MISTI to stamp this image onto blueberry card stock. I colored the images first with a white Prismacolor pencil, then added color with Polychromos pencils. Once I finished coloring, I re-stamped the image in my MISTI with embossing ink, and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I trimmed the panel with the large Essentials: Diagonal Stripes Die, and attached it to a card base with foam adhesive.

I hope I have helped with ideas for you with this fabulous Holiday Release. I’m so excited for your next stop on the hop, my sweet, talented friend Ashlea Cornell.
