We are at the halfway point on the MFT October Release Countdown… There’s a new round of product sneak peeks being featured on the MFT blog today, including the new Merry Elfin’ Christmas stamp, and Elfin’ Around Die-namics.

These two products together are so darn cute! I used the Mini Staggered Circles Stencil to add green glitter paste to dark green card stock. Once dry, I die-cut the elf hat, and die-cut white glitter paper for the trim and ball. I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock with embossing ink, and heat-embossed it with red embossing powder. I trimmed the panel with a stitched rectangle, attached it to a card base with foam adhesive, and added the hat with thin foam squares to finish the card.

I used a bright color combination for my next Christmas card.

I started with the new Peace, Love, And Joy Stencil. I blended Razzle Berry, Blue Raspberry, Limelight, and Jelly Bean MFT inks over the stencil, then added a thin layer of iridescent glitter glaze before removing the stencil. I set that aside, and started die-cutting.

I used the wreath from the Joyful Wreath Die-namics to die-cut Blue Raspberry, Jelly Bean, and Limelight card stock. I attached them together, using glue, then snipped a few branches and tucked them on in random spots. I added Multi Media Matte to some of the tips, and poured Distress Clear Rock Candy over the adhesive. I die-cut white card stock with the wreath die, and used the stencil to add light grey ink. I glued the wreath to the white card stock, and added die-cut berries.
I die-cut Joy from the new Joy, Love Peace Die-namics three times out of red card stock. I stacked and glued them together, then used the peppermint accessory die from the same die set to add the white swirl. I trimmed the stenciled background, and attached it to a card base with foam adhesive. I added the wreath and letters next with glue, and finished the card by adding shimmer and Crystal Glaze to Joy and the berries.

Love these – especially Merry Elfin’ Christmas! The detail on the wreath in the last card is awesome!
Love that elf hat!
I like the background of the wreath card and the use of blue leaves in your wreath is extremely nice. So holiday-ish having the peppermint candy in the center.
