The new MFT Release is almost here… Only two days to go! There is a new round of sneak peeks today on the MFT blog, one being this ADORABLE new Festive friends stamp set.

I made an outdoor snow scene for these Festive Friends. I blended Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol Smooth Paper. I let the ink dry, then used the Snowfall Horizontal stencil and an embossing pen to add embossing ink to the panel. I poured white embossing powder over the ink, and melted the powder with my heat tool. I attached the panel to a card base with foam adhesive.

I die-cut two white hills using dies from the Snowy Scene Builder Die-namics and added them to the card. I used the following Copic Markers to color the snowmen and trees:

• Snowmen: B000, BV000, BV00, Colorless Blender
• Scarfs,Boots, and Hats: Teals- BG18, BG15, BG32; Greens- G07, YG05, YG01; Pinks- RV17, RV14, RV13, RV23; Grays- N0, N3, N4, N6
• Trees: G28, G07, YG17, YG05, glitter gel pen

I attached the die-cut images to the card base with foam squares. I finished the card with a stamped and white heat-embossed sentiment, die-cut with a Stitched Sentiment Strip.
