Christmas Cards Thinking Of You

Pinkfresh Studio Ink Pad Release Blog Hop

What an exciting day! Pinkfresh Studio Ink Pad Release is now available, and we are celebrating with a huge blog hop! If you’re hopping along today, you should be arriving from the talented Anett Gelencsér‘s blog. You will find the full blog hop lineup listed below, as well as details for giveaways on today’s hop!

There is 12 color families in this release, each with four colors. These 48 ink colors are available in full size ink pads, and in ink cubes. For the above cards, I used the Delicate Wreath stamp set and 2 color families for the card fronts. For the green card, I used Mint, Meadow, and Emerald City. The fourth color in this family is Evergreen. For the orange card, I used Peach Fuzz, Apricot, Clementine, and Persimmon.

Before I stamped the panels, I blended ink onto them with a blender brush. The inks blended smoothly, and evened out to a beautiful glow. I trimmed the panels with the large Diagonal Stitched Rectangle, then used my MISTI to stamp the panels the same. My images came out smooth and crisp, and the colors are vibrant, and are as beautiful as their names.

I used the Make A Wish Stamp set for my next card, a birthday card for my Mother-In-Law. I used a variety of ink colors to show how well they all work together.

Purple is her favorite color, making this purple ink family perfect for her card. I used Soft Lilac, Lavender, and Regal Kiss for the cake. The cake stand is Ocean Breeze, and the two small pic flowers are Coral Reef. I used Peach Fuzz and Apricot for the range flowers, and Lemon Whip for the yellow flower. The leaves are two greens, Fresh Pear, and Grassy Knoll.

To assemble the card, I die-cut purple card stock with the large Braided Oval die, then bended Candy Violet ink around the edge. I stamped foliage from the stamp set onto the background with Soft Lilac ink, attached it to a card base, and added the cake and candles to finish the card.

I hope I have been able to show you how vibrant these ink colors are. Your next stop on the hop is the talented Ashlea Cornell.
