My Favorite Things October Vault Release

The October MFT Vault has opened today, and it was filled with Christmas! Here is some information about the Vault Release:

We’re opening up the vault, and we can’t wait to reveal what’s inside. With 13 years of experience under our belts, we’re thrilled to re-discover some classic MFT designs, and share them with you all over again! We might unearth an old favorite with a new twist, or possibly a brand-new-to-you design you missed out on in the past. We’re confident that this month’s vault contains something you’ll love…are you ready to see what treasure awaits?

I picked the festive Birdie Brown Toasty Greetings stamp set for my card today.

These snowmen are too cute, standing around a fire with their marshmallows. And that penguin… I can’t get enough of him! Ok, I think it’s apparent I am a HUGE fan of this stamp set. I used Copic Markers to color the images, and the coordinating Die-namics to die-cut them. I blended a nighttime background with Scattered Straw, Evergreen Bough, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks onto Bristol Smooth paper. I trimmed the paper with a stitched rectangle Die-namics, and white heat-embossed a sentiment. I made the snowfall with an embossing pen and the new Horizontal Snowfall Stencil. I colored the circles with the pen, then heat-embossed with white embossing powder. I die cut hills with the new Snowy Scene Builder Die-namics, then attached everything together with foam squares and glue. I attached the panel to a card base, and finished the card by adding shadows under the images with warm gray Copic Markers.

Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see the all of the merry October Vault Release products, as well as the amazing projects the design team has made. Thanks so much for stopping by!
