Only two more days to go before all of the fun new MFT products will be available. I have two cards to share with you featuring some of today’s product reveals.

I used the new Giraffes On Ice stamp set to set the scene for my first card. I put them in a Tall Snow Globe shaker, filling the shaker pouch with Rock Candy Glitter. I made a quick ink-blended background using Picked Raspberry and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks before closing the shaker. For the card front background, I stamped and white heat-embossed the new Simple Snowflakes background stamp onto white card stock. I blended Weathered Wood Distress Oxide ink over the panel, and die-cut a globe window before attaching the panel over the snow globe. I used double-sided adhesive to attach it to a card base.

My second card features a new line coming to the MFT shop: Impressive Die-Namics.

I used the Impressive Snowflake Die-namics and my Gemini Foil Press to make these gold-foiled snowflakes. I stamped the Christmas background onto white card stock with natural ink before starting the foiling process. You can watch the foiling process in this MFT YouTube video. I trimmed the panel with a stitched Die-namics, and mounted it onto Desert Storm card stock. I attached the panel to a card base, and added a stamped and gold heat-embossed sentiment from the Bitty Christmas Wishes stamp set to finish the card.

There’s more product reveals over on the MFT Blog, and tons of Design Team inspiration. The Release will be available this Tuesday, November 5th, at 10am EST. I will be back tomorrow with one more sneak peek before the release.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Angelica, I love the snowflake card! How long did it take to do all the foiling (if you don’t mind me asking — if you do, ignore the question. 🙂 )
Hi! Always ask- I don’t mind at all. The foiling process was about 10 min. If I did one, from turning the machine on and hot foil pressing the snowflake… maybe 5 min. It takes a couple min for the machine to warm. After that, 15 seconds for the die to warm, then run through the machine. That’s done in less than a minute.
Dear Angelica
What more to say Both cards are magical. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Loved the background, pastel colors, sentiment and the image on the first card. Loved the foiling on the second card. It is really neat and nice. Blessings to you and your family
Thank you Surekha for your encouraging words. They mean so much. ❤️
Your cards are beautiful, Angelica! The wonderful giraffe shaker dome is super and the gold snowflakes over the text background is so different and eye-catching. Thanks so much for the inspiration and all the detailed explanations!
