Today is a whole new round of inspiration and ideas to get you ready for The Greetery’s Winter’s Song Collection, available tomorrow. I have a lot to share with you, so let’s get started.

This berry branch is from the new new Winter Sketches stamp set. There are several stamps in this set, including a multi-step berry branch, and coordinating elements. I used the matching line branch stamp for my card, stamping the image onto Arches watercolor paper with Old Paper Distress ink. I used Mijello watercolors to watercolor the branch.

I stamped Merry Christmas from Sentiment Suite: Christmas Stamp Set onto another panel of watercolor paper, and made a watercolored snowy-blue background. I added the die-cut branch, and framed the scene with a die-cut Nordic Frame, backing the frame with raspberry sorbet card stock for a pop of color.

My second card features another watercolored background, this time in pink hues.

These wintry Sprigs are from Budding Beauties Winter stamp set. The sprigs are designed to work with the Bottled Up stamp set, which I have done for this card. I stamped the sprigs in pinks and browns, and added them to a gray Bottled Up bottle. I used the coordinating label and sentiments to dress the bottle up, and finished the bottle with a whimsical Fit To Be Tied ribbon, die-cut from white card stock.

I used Altenew Cotton Candy and Coral Berry watercolors to make the background, and Moon Rock for the shadow. I splattered the panel with Cotton Candy and watered-down white acrylic paint. I die-cut the panel with Crimped Frame Die, and attached it to a card base. I finished the card by adding a jewel to the ribbon center, and Ranger Rock Candy glitter to the sprigs for sparkle.

My last project today is a gift box and card set. I used the new BotaniCuts Pine Bough dies to make my embellishments.

Let’s start with the dies. I showed a pine cone yesterday, and there was a lot of interest for it.

This BotaniCuts die set comes with 15 dies. I decided not to snip the pieces apart, since I was die-cutting watercolor paper. I ran the dies and paper through my die-cut machine with a metal shim, cutting out several panels. I added purple tape to the backs of the panels to hold the die cuts in their negative spaces. I watercolored the pieces very loosely, adding darker colors in random places. Once The pieces were dry, I used Multi Media Matte and Glue Dots to piece the die cuts together.

Once I finished putting them all together, I added Multi Media Matte to edges of the pinecones and Bough, and poured loose white flock over the adhesive. I let that dry for about 30 minutes, then added anther layer of Multi Media Matte, this time pouring Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter over the adhesive.

This box is handmade, a perfect size to hold A2 size cards and envelopes. Measurements and pictures for the box:

• Top: 7 15/16 x 6 9/16; Score at 1 inch on all four sides
• Bottom: 7 7/8 x 6 1/2; Score at 1 inch on all four sides

I finished the box with a belly band, and a tag from the Speed Tagging Prints.

I made a coordinating card to go with the box, using the Berry Branch stencil to make my card background.

I sprayed the back of the stencil lightly with Pixie Spray, a repositionable adhesive for stencils. I attached the stencil to watercolor paper, and blended TE Sea Salt Hybrid Ink over the stencil. This ink is a super light gray ink, easy to do no-line watercolor over. I used my Mijello watercolors again to color the scene. I will admit, I am left handed, and made a bit of a mess in a couple spots, smearing the paint with the side of my left hand. To hide these smears, I blended Vintage Photo and Old Paper Distress inks over the panel once it was dry. I then added watered down vintage photo and white acrylic paint splatters all over the panel.

I cut two thin strips of red card stock, and attached them to the panel. I glued the pine cones and bough next, and added a stamped and die-cut sentiment from the Sentiment Suite: Christmas stamp stamp set.
