We are at the halfway point of the MFT December Release Countdown! There’s a new round of product reveals on the MFT Blog today, including the new Heap Of Hellos stamp set.
I made a quick rainbow-colored card, using a variety of MFT inks (listed below) and grid paper in my MISTI for straight stamping. I love making my own backgrounds, and that is what first came to mind when I saw this stamp set. I lined my stamps at an angle, stamped with ink, and moved my panel for the next color. I used the same horizontal and vertical grid square square count for each position to make the unified pattern work. I have made several repeat backgrounds using this technique, and definitely recommend giving it a try.
I trimmed the panel with a stitched rectangle STAX, and attached it to a card base with foam adhesive. I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment onto black card stock, and used a new A2 Stitched Circle STAX die to cut it out. I added the circle with thin foam squares to finish the card.
Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see all of today’s product sneak peeks, and check out the all of the fun inspiration the design team has made. Everything you see this week will be available on Tuesday, December 10th, at 10am EST. Thanks so much for stopping by!
