Tomorrow is Release Day! There has been great inspiration these past 5 days on the MFT blog, showcasing the new products in December’s Release. There’s one last round of product reveals today, including the new Crosshatch Polka Dot Background stamp.

I started with ink-blending a rainbow on white card stock, using the following Distress Oxide Ink colors: Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Lucky Clover, Blueprint Sketch, and Wilted Violet. I stamped and clear-embossed the Crosshatch Polka Dot Background, then trimmed the panel with a stitched rectangle STAX. Next, I used the new Huge Hugs Die-namics to die-cut white card stock three times, and stacked and glued them together. I attached them to the background panel, then added the panel to a card base with foam adhesive.

I added shiny texture to the die cut words by brushing shimmer onto each letter, and adding a layer of Crystal Glaze for shine. To finish the card, I stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment from Bitty Thanks and Gratitude stamp set onto black card stock, trimmed it, and attached the sentiment to the card with a thin foam adhesive strip.
