Thinking Of You

My Favorite Things Color Challenge 131

There’s a new Color Challenge on today’s MFT blog. Here is the combination:

All of the details about the Color Challenge can be found on the MFT blog; you’ll also find ideas there from the design team to help get you started.

I started out by stamping the background for my card. I stamped one background with grout ink, and a second with Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry, and Wild Cherry inks. I used painter’s tape to mask the stripes for the colored-striped background so I could alternate the colors. I trimmed the colored background with a stitched rectangle STAX, then die-cut a window. I made a grout frame for the window, and attached the panel to the grout-striped background.

After die-cutting grout card stock three times with the Hugs from Huge Hugs Die-namics, I stacked and glued the letters together. I added the letters inside the frame, and attached the panel to a card base to finish the card.

Now it’s your turn! Be sure to head over to the MFT blog for all the details on how you can enter this week’s color challenge and have a chance to win a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Shop! Thanks for stopping by!
