Pretty Pink Posh 6th Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome to day two of a three-day blog hop, celebrating the new January Release, now available in the PPP shop! If you’re arriving from the talented Suzy Plantamura’s blog, you’re in the right spot. A full list of the hop lineup is listed below, as well as details for giveaways and a sales code. Let’s Get Started!

These sweet frogs are from the new Pond Friends stamp set. I colored the images with the following Copic Markers: Pad and grass- YG61, YG63, YG67, E31, E33, E37; Frog- YG00, YG01, YG03, YG05, YG17; Flower- V15, V12, V000; White Gel Pen. I used a Scallop Border Die to die-cut a violet background and attached it to a card base, stamping a sentiment from the stamp set and attaching the images with thin foam squares and glue.

My second card showcases the new Love Stamp Set and Coordinating Die.

I white heat-embossed LOVE onto white card stock, and blended Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide inks over the embossed letters. I used finger daubers to get a smooth blend. Once finished, I brushed Perfect Pearl powder over the panel before die-cutting. This gave the letters a beautiful shimmer. I stamped a border of hearts from the new Love Borders stamp set, and a sentiment from the Love stamp set onto a card panel with Sugar Fresh ink. I added the letters, and attached the panel to a card base with foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for spending time with me today. I hope I have helped inspire new ideas using these new products. Your next stop on the hop is my dear friend Dana Kirby.
