The Greetery Lily And Palm Release

Hello friends! I have a special blog today, dedicated to The Greetery’s new Lily And Palm Collection, available tomorrow. This mini release has a beautiful Easter theme, with sentiments and stamps that can be used for many occasions. I have a lot to share, so lets get started!

Caring Cross is a stamp and stencil combo. I blended Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress oxide inks over the Cross stencil, using finger daubers. I stamped the layered palm and berries, then die-cut the cross with the coordinating die. I used the large palm in the stamp set for the background.

There is a new card kit in this release, Gatherings Creative Kit: Easter Jubilee. This kit has three coordinating stencils to build your background, a stamp set with sentiments and floral details, a word die, and sentiment banner.

This kit is a lot of fun to play with, offering many ways to bring color to your card. I picked purples and greens for my first card, and used the large Nordic Frame to die-cut the panel.

There’s also a new word die in this release, Let’s Have A Word: Happy. I used this die to die-cut card stock I blended red ink onto. I love that this die is yet another way to add color to a card.

I also used the floral stencils and masking paper to make my own background.

I positioned the stencils horizontally on a vertical panel. I picked cheerful ink colors to blend over the stencils, and added the stamped floral detail. I then covered the tulips with masks, and blended blue ink to make a banner. I removed the masks, and added a Written With Ribbons sentiment. I finished the card with a watercolored Crimped Frame.

The new BotaniCuts Lily is beautiful! And they come together so easily. I made several sets of white lilies.

I die-cut white card stock, added a bit of color and shading with Copic Markers, and used glue to put the flowers together. The leaves I kept really simple- I just die-cut green card stock. I chose a sentiment from Hand In Hand to make a Mother-themed card, and used the Halfsies Oval Die to make a frame to tuck the lilies in.
