The Greetery’s Fresh Air Collection: Sneak Peek Day 1

Today kicks off product reveals for The Greetery’s Fresh Air Collection! For the next three days, the design team will be sharing tons of inspiration, leading up to Friday’s Release. I am so in love with this new release, and it definitely has me ready for spring. I have a few cards to share, information on a giveaway, and links to today’s designers. Lets get started!

Top Down Day stamp set… I mean, really? I squealed when I saw this set! This stamp set is filled with so much happiness, which we all need at the moment. I made three cards with it to share today, starting with this first one. The Sentiment “Cruisin’ by to say” is one stamp, and can be accompanied by “Hello”, or “Happy Birthday”. There are coordinating dies for each sentiment too. (LOVE that!) I stamped all of the cars shown today with Pinkfresh Studio Inks, and the lady with a Copic-friendly black ink. I did super quick Copic coloring on the lady. The clean background was made with the new Painterly Stripes rubber stamp, stamped with TE Salt Water Taffy.

My next card features the same sentiment, this time showcasing “Happy Birthday”. Tip: Stamp the top sentiment first, die-cut it, then stamp the second part for proper placement.

I used the same stamp for the background, this time using MFT Poppy ink. I stamped and die-cut the balloons, and attached them with different sized foam squares for a mixture of heights. I used the new Silver Lining Die** to make the fun pink and red scallop edge.

For my last card, I used the Silver Lining Die** in a completely different way.

The Silver Lining Die** comes with two double-stitched scallop dies. I used the dies to make a cloud stencil, die-cutting two edges of a panel of card stock. I made the background using the stencil with Blue Raspberry ink and a blender brush. The panel was die-cut with a Postal Frames Die, and attached to a card base with foam adhesive. I added the cute bouquet of flowers, lady, and car with thin foam squares. I used Copic Markers C7, C5, C3, C0 to add the car shadow. I finished the card with a die-cut sentiment.

Products used today:

  • Top Down Day stamps + die
  • Silver Lining die (**DELAYED)
  • Painterly Stripes rubber stamp

**Please note: A handful of the dies from the new Fresh Air collection will not be available when the rest of the collection goes up in the shop on Friday (March 27 @ 10am EDT). “We hope to have them in stock by early April. We will be revealing these delayed dies along with everything else, but will be sure to note which ones are in the delayed bunch.”

That’s all that I have for now! I hope I have helped with ideas and inspiration for these new products. Be sure to stop by The Greetery’s blog today if you haven’t already. Betsy has full descriptions for each product, and gorgeous examples to share. All new products will be available in The Greetery shop this Friday, March 27th, at 10am EST. Thanks for stopping by!
